Liangqi Yao (b. 1999) is an artist based in London and Changsha. Her works range from films, photography, and sound to installation and performance. Liangqi is mainly working on 16mm black and white film in recent two years. Experimenting in light stealing and film materiality. She is obsessed with night and dreams. Trying to convey her feelings by finding the rhythm in light and atmosphere in films.
